This item consists of removing from the right-of-way and proper disposal of all trees,
brush, stumps, logs, grass, weeds, roots, decayed vegetable matter, poles, stubs,
rubbish, refuse dumps, sawdust piles, and all other objectionable matter resting on
or protruding through the original ground space or appearing or being placed on the
right-of-way at any time before final acceptance of the work, except as provided for
elsewhere. This item also includes the removal and proper disposal of any obstructions
not to be salvaged, such as fences and incidental structures within the right-of-way
which might interfere with construction.
After the completion of clearing and grubbing the city engineer will be notified for
an inspection of the site before grading is started.
