§ 22-321. Sales by religious or charitable organizations.

  • (a)

    Religious and charitable organizations which have obtained 503(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Code may conduct yard sales on the property of the organization, provided they meet all the requirements and limitations provided in section 22-319 of this article.

    (b)

    No fee shall be required of such organizations.

    (c)

    Should such a religious or charitable organization request to conduct a yard sale on premises not owned by the organization, such sale shall be permitted and a permit issued, provided that the premises are otherwise eligible for use for yard sale purposes, the organization has obtained the prior written consent of the owner of the property, and such consent is provided with application for permit to the city.
