§ 30-62. Rules governing automobile maintenance and repair.

  • (a)

    Automobile maintenance and repair in residential areas. Automobile repair is prohibited in all residential areas. Automobile maintenance is permitted in all residential areas if performed under both of the following two conditions:

    (1)

    Maintenance is performed only on vehicles owned by the property owner or current resident; and

    (2)

    Maintenance is performed completely inside an enclosed garage. No automobile maintenance or repair work is permitted in any yard, driveway or street in residential areas.

    (b)

    Automobile maintenance and repair in commercial or industrial areas. See city zoning regulations for permitted uses and restrictions on automobile maintenance and repair in commercial and industrial areas.
