§ 30-181. Variances from requirements.
(a)
The director may grant a variance from requirements of this article if exceptional circumstances applicable to a site exist such that strict adherence to the provisions of this article will result in unnecessary hardship and will not fulfill the intent of this article.
(b)
A written request for a variance shall be required and shall state the specific variance sought and the reasons, with supporting data, a variance should be granted. The request shall include all information necessary to evaluate the proposed variance.
(c)
The director will conduct a review of the request for a variance and may approve, deny, or request additional information for the variance.
