Article IV. JUVENILE CURFEW |
§ 50-106. Purpose.
(a)
It is the responsibility of the city to protect the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the city. As a part of this responsibility is the need to protect our children from being victims of crimes that occur after hours as well as lessen the risk that a juvenile become a violator of the law as the result of after-hours conduct.
(b)
It is also the purpose of this article to make parents more responsible for their children.
(c)
It is believed that it is in the best interest of the citizens of the city to have a juvenile curfew ordinance.
