§ 62-91. Recycled collection by city.
(a)
At the request for commercial location service for recycling the customer will be charged additional fees as based in the schedule of fees set by the mayor and council.
(b)
Commercial locations will be provided one 95-gallon bin or cart at the request to setup service for recycling.
(1)
The contractor shall collect recyclables separate from all other commercial refuse.
(2)
The contractor will only collect one recycle container or bin per commercial unit per week of commercial recycled items.
(c)
Each residential single family dwelling will be provided an 18-gallon bin for recycled material.
(1)
Contractor will provide once per week collection of recyclable material.
(d)
The residential recycling is included in the property owners sanitation fees paid annually.
(e)
Recyclables shall be placed in provided recycling containers and shall not be commingled with non-recyclable solid waste.
(f)
Recyclable containers shall be placed at curbside for pick-up on designated collection days or at some other location on the property designated.
(g)
In the alternative, residents, businesses and institutions may bring their recyclables to our city recycling facility designated by the police and fire department on Church Street.
(h)
Items to recycle are; Newspapers and inserts, cardboard, boxes, aluminum beverage containers, steel and tin food containers, green, brown and clear glass bottles and jars, #1, #2 and #3 plastic bottles.

All recyclables shall fit inside the recycling container.
