§ 14-32. Investigation.

  • (a)

    Both public safety officers and animal control officers are authorized to make such investigations and inquiries as may be necessary to identify dangerous dogs and potentially dangerous dogs and their respective owners within the city.

    (b)

    These officers shall have the authority to investigate complaints as part of the process of identifying dangerous dogs and potentially dangerous dogs.

    (c)

    The officers' authority to investigate shall include the power to enter onto public and private property for the purpose of periodic inspection.
