§ 26-35. Local office.

During the terms of the franchise, and any renewal thereof, the grantee shall maintain within the city a local business office or agent. The provisions of this section shall be complied with if the grantee maintains a local business headquarters office within ten air miles of the center of the city; provides the administrative officer and governing body with the name, address and phone number of a resident of the county who will act as grantee's agent to receive complaints regarding quality of service, equipment malfunctions and similar matters; and at least once a week informs all subscribers by appropriate announcement (e.g., by a slide card) over the system's originations cablecasting channel of the name, address and phone number of the grantee's registered agent for the city.
