§ 46-37. Rules and regulations.

Under the direction of the city manager, or if the position of city manager is vacant, of the city council, the police chief shall maintain written rules and regulations for the operation of the police department as are necessary. These rules and regulations shall become effective within 15 days after being sent to the city council for review unless disapproved within the 15-day period.
