§ 74-88. Septic tanks; state regulations adopted.
(a)
There is hereby adopted by the city the code of regulations on the installation of septic tanks published by the state department of natural resources. Such code of regulations is hereby adopted to the same extent as if set out fully in this section, except as the same may be changed, modified and amended as follows: "All drain ditches shall not be less than 18 inches wide, and gravel shall be used instead of cinders."
(b)
It shall be unlawful for any person to install a septic tank until a permit has been issued by the health department of the county. The health department of the county may require such information from the applicant for such permit to assure that no ordinances of the city will be violated by the issuance of such permit.
