§ 74-124. Charges for extension to property line when sewers are constructed.

Under normal circumstances, the property owner shall be responsible for the construction and maintenance of all those portions of the service line serving his property up to the sewer tap. However, if the city should, for whatever reason, require that such service lines be constructed by the city, charges for such extensions shall be based upon the actual costs, including time and materials incurred by the city in making such connections. The cost of the extensions shall be assessed and collected in the same manner as the cost of sewers is assessed and collected.
