§ 25. [Same—]Contempt.

  • When sitting as a court, the judge or judge pro-tem thereof, shall have the power to punish for contempt by fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), imprisonment in the manner prescribed as aforesaid not exceeding six (6) months, one or both, or any part thereof, in the discretion of the judge or judge pro-tem.
