§ 58. Nuisances.

Be it further enacted that said mayor and councilmen may by ordinance declare what shall be a nuisance in said city and provide for the abatement of the same. The police [municipal] court in said city shall have concurrent jurisdiction with the mayor and councilmen of said city in respect to the trial and abatement of all nuisances in said city.
