§ 2-204. Cost difference limit.

Latest version.
  • (a)

The City of Riverdale is not bound to award a contract to the company with the highest competitive bid score. Price is also a deciding factor in the analysis.

    (b)

If the price difference between the bid of the local vendor(s) is equal to or greater than two and one-half percent higher than the lowest acceptable competitive bid, the City of Riverdale is not obligated to award the bid to the company with the highest competitive bid score. Instead, the City of Riverdale can award all or part of the contract to the company with the lowest competitive bid price, regardless of the local preference program or resulting bid scores.
