§ 2-205. Applicability.

(a)

The award of any contract for materials or services in which the total cost to the city associated with the contract is at least $5,000.00 shall be subject to the local preference program.

(b)

The award of any contract for materials or services in which the total cost to the city associated with the contract is less than $5,000.00 shall not be subject to the local preference program.
