§ 3-18. Creation of board of ethics.

The City of Riverdale hereby creates a board of ethics to receive, investigate and hear all complaints of alleged violations filed in the city against city officials as defined herein. The board of ethics shall consist of five residents of the city, one appointed solely by the mayor, and four nominated by each member of the city council and appointed by a majority vote of the mayor and council.

Ord. No. 12-2016 , § 1, adopted July 11, 2016, repealed the former § 3-18, and enacted new §§ 3-18—3-25 as set out herein. The former § 3-18 pertained to procedure for hearing complaints and derived from Ord. No. 05-2015 , adopted August 10, 2015.
