§ 50-6. Obstructing, resisting police officers, city employees.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person within the city:

    (1)

    To resist or invite resistance to lawful arrest or lawful orders from any police officer of the city;

    (2)

    To hinder, obstruct or impede any police officer or other city employee in the discharge of any duty or to menace or threaten such officers or employees while in the discharge of any duty;

    (3)

    To follow any police officer while in charge of a prisoner or prisoners, after he has been commanded to desist, or after any crowd shall have been commanded to disperse.
