§ 74-91. Compliance with plumbing code; inspection, etc.

All connections to the sewerage system of the city shall be in accordance with the plumbing code of the city. The permit shall be applied for and obtained by the person doing the work before the work is undertaken. All installations leading to the sanitary sewer shall be subject to inspection and final determination as to their adequacy or inadequacy by the director of public works. No person shall install or tap on to the sanitary sewer system prior to having the full and complete authorization of the director of public works prior to covering the lines leading into the sanitary sewer. All such tap-ons shall be done in keeping with the instructions and orders of the director of public works.
